Washington Blackberry Jam

Adding a little color to this rainy Sunday in the desert... 


  1. I used this recipe (and reduced the sugar by half):

    My jam did not come out like I wanted it to. It never really hardened up and was too lemony. I also thing the berries I used were not all at their ripest state. So that added to the sourness.

    But I tell ya! It sure makes a good blackberry balsamic salad dressing (and jam if you don't mind a not-so-hard-jam). :)
